I had all my grandchildren last weekend except Cody. It was great, but I don't know how Tonya does it week after week. It got me to thinking about how God does it. We make bigger mistakes than children do, and time after time he just forgives us. He gave his son to die on the cross so we can be forgiven, without the blood of Jesus how sad it would be. Think about this, do you get a lot of e-mails that say if you love God you will forward this, or if you don't send this you will have bad luck. We are having a great study in our small group. And if you let these thoughts go into your mine you will let bad things happen. All the e-mails have a great message but I just wish they would not threaten your thoughts to make you think bad things will happen. God is good and will protect you. What are your thoughts. I was glad to meet everyone in the prayer room yesterday. Hope this is something we can all remember to do each day at 9 a.m. the clock is messed up on my blog and I thought I set it at 9 yesterday but it said 9:59 instead of 9 oh well, so remember you don't have to be on line but if you are that's great just remember to pray at 9. You know as I remember back about a sermon Mr. Tom and Dan Corp had a few years ago. I think it is one of the those that stick in your mind and I will remember for the rest of my life. When life start bogging you down.
As we sat, listened, and looked, there was I would say an eight or ten foot cross at the front of the building on stage, we had a pen and 3X5 card to write on and all had opportunity to go up front and lay this card at the foot of the cross. The sermon was about laying your burdens at the foot of the cross. How when you hand them up to God he remembers them know more or if it is a prayer he answer it maybe not the way you want it answered but he answers it. If it is a sin its gone, a prayer its answered. I guess my question to you today would be what are you going to lay at the foot of the cross? You can respond or just hand it up to God. Love Sis

My thoughts and prayers are on the aftermath of Katrina this morning, the devastation and death. My mind wonders how many of those people do not know Jesus, and why they don't know him. After such a terrible tragedy how they could not believe in God and live through this. What are your thoughts? Love Sis

Did you ever notice someone like your child or granddaughter in this case saying something and wondering where they got the expression? Well I did, Cora kept saying "I'll tell you what" before she would say something. I kept saying I wonder where she got that from until I paid attention to myself. Guess what I found out who was saying it. It's funny sometimes you say things and don't even notice it until it comes back to you. This time it wasn't something to be ashamed of. Hopefully she will not pick up on other things. If we say shut up she tells us its a bad word, and it has stopped that dirty saying. Its pretty bad when a 4 year old has to break you from saying things you shouldn't say. What about you do you do things a child has to correct. BBT Love Sis

Hi Everyone,
Need your help today. I had my treatment wed. I'm doing o.k. but I need your prayers for my car, a seal in the transmission went out in it . We are going to put an additive in it and see if it will seal it back up if not the trans has to be pulled. We are not healthy enough or have the money to do this so just need a prayer that the additive will work. Have a great weekend. Love Sis

I'm back for a few days, I have another treatment the 17 of this month that will put me down for a couple of days. Kids will be going back to school soon, which leads me to this, think about when you were a kid and answer the question.
What I did over my summer vacation?
Mine was a family reunion, birthday parties, being with family, going to Doctor appointments, enjoying the warm weather, and thanking God for all the beautiful and wonderful things he gives me.

Share some of your fondest memories. Mine would be when I became a Christian, going to my Grandmothers during vacation down South, getting married, having my children, and seeing my granddaughters being born, my parents 50 wedding anniversary. Pigs Blood

I was listing to a Christian radio show this weekend, they brought up something I had never heard about. I will try to make sense out of this post. The announcer was talking about during WWII to stop terrorism bullets would be dipped in pigs blood before our guys would use them the Moslems got afraid and retreated because they believed if pigs blood entered their body they would go to hell not to heaven. The announcer suggested maybe that should be done again to stop all the terrorism. Has anyone heard of this, and what do you think about it? Love Sis

If you could change one thing in your life what would it be?
Mine would be the time I spent fussing about things instead of finding the blessing in what was happening. Example taking your kids in the summer time and have fun, instead of dusting. That time goes so fast when they are little. Your kids grow up too fast. Take time in the moment, or miss a blessing.

What makes you smile? Mine would be God, my family,friends, kids.
God makes me smile because of the beauty he has given for us to see with our eyes, ears and all that surrounds us. My family because of their love, and how could I not after all Jamie is my son, his humor most of the time, when he knows when to stop, he is getting better at that. My family at church how could you not feel good around good people. And most of all kids Gods cheer up pill for us. Take Me Out To The Ball Game

All though I tease the guys a lot about their trip every year by calling it their little ball game, I am so glad to see them get together in fellowship and enjoy each others company. I am envious actually. In case you don't know what I am referring to it's The Pilgrimage, Doug, Sheldon, Jamie, Mike, Don and a few more go on every year. They go to different ball fields and just have a weekend of fun. They leave this Friday, please pray for their trip, and the people taken care of them at the hotel (just kidding about the later part). I think it's time for the girls to do the same thing lets see Mall America, any Mega Mall will do. In fact in Piqua Ohio there is a Mall attached to a hotel with a movie theater, thats not to far away. I've been there it real nice. Goodmorning Everyone! I got up this morning, Thank You Lord, and I turned on the news as I always do. Robin Roberts was doing a news cast from Seweto Africa. Robin is over there with former President Clinton bring medicin to the people in Villages there. The stats floored me. 10 years ago the average life expentancy was 62+ years in 10 years it has dropped to 37 years, with most of the children being born with aids. President Clinton is setting up clinics to fight the disease the medicin is available and has to be taken to clinics over there. How blessed are we to live in a country like ours, most of our poor in the States would be rich over there. So when people like myself start to have pitty parties for themselves just remember those little babies and the people in Seweto. Have a Blessed Day, Love Sis

Its's Blaw Monday! Or is it? Well I got up this morning being able to breath, my feet were able to touch the floor, I had my granddaughter smiling at me of course she ask me for breakfast and I was able to make it for her. Lets see I am here writing this blog, and yesterday was fantastic. I was able to see most of you at worship, and hear the wonderful message Tom had, now what could be better.
